A note regarding the rind: I did not cut the rind off before baking. It is perfectly digestible, and you don't notice it much after your brie is baked. When I'm gobbling up brie unbaked, I sometimes removed the rind purely because I don't enjoy it.


How do you eat brie en croute?

Brush the surface of the brie en croute with egg wash.

Add your favorite jam and nuts.

Cover the brie en croute in a puff pastry.

Bake: Cook for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool down and serve: Move brie en croute to a clean work surface or serving dish and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit biscuits and artisanal bread.


Can you reheat brie en croute?

Reheating Leftover Brie En Croute.  If you have leftovers, you can loosely wrap it in aluminum foil and heat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is runny again and the puff pastry is hot.
