According to Apple, the new display works in tandem with enhancements in iOS 15 to offer smoother gestures and gameplay while yielding a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.

There’s also a new 12 MP triple-camera system comprised of Telephoto, Wide, and Ultra Wide lenses. The Telephoto lens has a 77 mm focal length with 3x optical zoom and an f/2.8 aperture while the Ultra Wide offers a 13 mm focal length and f/1.8 aperture. The Wide-angle lens comes with a 26 mm focal length, 1.9-micron pixels, and an f/1.5 aperture. OIS is available in the Telephoto and Wide-angle lenses. While the Telephoto and Ultra Wide lenses feature a 6-element lens, the Wide angle uses a 7-element lens with sensor shift OIS.
